Chinatown Film Festival Seeks Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the production of our 2008 edition of the film festival, in New York, October 2008.
We’re looking for self-motivated, outgoing, and reliable volunteers who can assist with the preparation of the Film Festival, and during the festival week with general public and campus outreach; publication of newsletter and other informational literature; assisting at our information table at various pre-events and during the festival; organizing check-in; and accommodating festival sponsors, participating organizations, filmmakers and their guests.

The Chinatown Film Festival, in collaboration with China Care, Families with Children in China and the Malaysian American Association, is organizing a live fundrising concert on this June 12th, at 6pm, to raise funds and help the victims of the recent earthquake.

The Chinatown Film Festival is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to increase exposure of Asian culture while uniting it with American and other International cultures. The Chinatown Film Festival will benefit the NYC Chinatown community on a variety of levels. The Chinatown Film Festival will act as a strong cultural liaison uniting both East and West through film, entertainment, and art.
